Trends come and go, but nails are forever! Here are the top nail shape trends Pure Nails Head of Support and Education, Tina Bell, has seen throughout 2021 and expects to see more of in 2022.
1. Oval Nails
Oval nails are very feminine and look great when paired with bold colours, such as red or bright glitter. Both have been really popular this Autumn. The smooth shape of the oval nail makes the fingers look elegant and longer whilst the curve of the oval will make your nails look longer, too!
2. Stiletto
This shape is perfect for those who like to be a little bit more daring, as the nail itself is a conversation starter without any nail art. Have fun when creating designs for this nail and make sure you add some sparkle for that extra little detail!
3. Square
Flawless 90-degree angled sides and a straight top; the square nail shape has always been a popular choice. The edginess of this style also speaks to younger audiences since it can be paired with darker colours and geometric designs.
4. Natural
Natural nails have certainly made a comeback after being in lockdown for so long. Clients have enjoyed the shorter. natural nail, keeping it manicured with a French polish or soft natural shade, giving the nail bed a healthy glow. For those clients, try brightening them up with a coloured French or a little glitter for the Christmas season.
