Application of Halo EasiBuild

Preparation of the Natural Nail

1. Sanitise your hands and your client’s hands.

2. Remove any polish or gel polish.

3. Push back cuticles and remove non-living tissue from the nail plate.

4. Using Halo Elite Cuticle Nippers, carefully trim dead cuticles.

5. File natural nails with a 180 grit file.

6. Gently etch the nail vertically from cuticle to free edge with a 180 grit file to remove shine.

7. Remove dust and scrub the nail with Halo Prep & Scrub and Halo Plush Brush.

8. Apply Nail Tips or Forms if required.

Application

1. Apply Halo Base Coat, avoiding cuticle area and nail walls. Cure for 30 seconds LED.*

2. Apply a slick layer of EasiBuild following the Base Coat. Do not cure this layer.

3. Apply a building layer directly on top of the slick layer, focusing on apex and structure. If product flattens, hold hand upside down to regain apex. Cure for 30 seconds.

4. Repeat step 3 if additional apex is required.

5. Remove the sticky layer with Gel Wipe and a lint-free wipe.

Tip: Use the low heat setting on your Halo Smart Lamp to help avoid heat spikes.

Finishing

1. Refine shape, length, and surface with a 180 grit file.

2. Buff nails with the Halo Elite Buffer (180 grit) to smooth.

3. Remove dust with Halo Prep & Scrub and Halo Plush Brush.

4. Apply Halo Gel Polish Base Coat, colour of choice, and Halo Gel Polish Top Coat — or simply Base and Top Coat if no colour is required. Cure for 30 seconds.

5. Allow nails to cool, then apply Pure Nails Cuticle Feed.

Removal of Halo EasiBuild

1. Remove top coat, colour bulk with 180 grit file until near base coat.

2. Soak hands in heated acetone with soak off bowls for 10 minutes (or use foil wrap method).

3. Remove the hands from the acetone and remove product with Gel Remover Tool. If product remains, buff and repeat the soak.

4. File natural nails and refine with Halo Elite File (180 grit) and Elite Buffer 240.

5. Apply Halo Citrus Crush Cuticle Feed.
