We may only be three days into 2019, but we’re already scoping out the top nail trends for the year. We’ve scaled the web and done our research, putting our favourite nail looks for the new year together along with some of our best products to help you follow the trends well into 2019.
Back to the 90's
The 1990’s have been taking over our fashion, music, makeup and more for the past few years, and it’s no different for 2019’s nail trends.
Whilst kids born in 1990 are turning 29 this year (!) we’re bringing the era back with glittery nails inspired by, arguably, the best decade of all time.
Whether you paint the entire nail in 90’s glitter, the ring finger only or tie in with other trends on this list, Halo gel polish comes in a huge range of glittery shades to bring the 90’s trend to life. Our personal favourite is Pink Diamond, or why not just add our Sparkle Top Coat to transform any shade?

All that Negative Space
Whilst negative space has been popular amongst nail trends throughout 2018, the new year will see the trend at a whole new level.
Negative space nails incorporate the natural, bare nail within the nail art, meaning a variety of colours, finishes, embellishments and more can be used, and thus the results are endless. A top tip; if the design is only on the upper half of the nail, the look will last longer!
Any of our Halo gel polishes are perfect for creating a negative space look, but our Halo top coat will really help to tie it all together.

Wild Animal Print
You may have noticed a variety of animal prints becoming popular in fashion towards the end of 2018. In 2019, the trend will transpire to our nail art.
With so many different varieties of animal print to try (leopard, cow, snake, dalmatian and zebra to name only a few), you can experiment with this trend to come up with something unique and fabulous. What will you try?
The Pure Nails Brush Cleaner is the ideal way to ensure you get perfect prints every single time.

Slime Green
You’ve probably done everything you can to avoid using bright green on your nails… that is, until now. Whether or not you want to go green in 2019, you’re going to be seeing it everywhere.
Slime green French tips are said to be the must-have manicure in 2019, making three trends in one as it ties together the 90’s and negative space trends too.
The Halo gel polish in Neon Green is the ultimate colour for this trend. We bet you’ll give it a go and love it.
