Application of Halo PoliBuild
1. Prep the nail by shaping, carrying out cuticle work and removing any surface shine with a Halo Elite Yellow Block (220 grit), taking extra care to remove the shine down the side walls and around the cuticle area.
2. Remove dust and surface oils by cleaning the nail plate with Halo Prep & Finish Plus. and Halo Plush Brush.
3. Apply Halo Rubber Base Coat and cure for 30 seconds.
4. Remove any product from sidewalls or cuticles before curing.
5. Pick up a bead of PoliBuild using the spatula end of the PoliBuild Dual Tool.
6. Dip the brush end into Liquid Control, wiping off excess (brush should be damp, not wet).
7. Pat and push the PoliBuild into the desired position on the nail.
8. Repeat steps 3–5 until the desired structure and shape is achieved.
9. Cure the full application under a Halo UV/LED lamp. for 60 seconds (no need to cure each bead separately).
10. Remove the tacky layer with Halo Prep & Finish Plus. Using your Halo 180 Elite File the nail into shape and seal in cuticle area. Go over the filled nail with Halo 240 Elite Buffer before applying base coat.
Removal of Halo PoliBuild
1. Remove Halo Top Coat or Gel Polish by breaking the seal with a 150/150 grit file.
2. Soak nails in acetone using a soak off bowl for 10 minutes.
3. Gently scrape off softened product.
4. Repeat soak and scrape as needed until fully removed.
5. Buff and tidy natural nails with a Halo 180 Elite File and Halo 240 Elite Buffer.
6. Apply Halo Citrus Crush Cuticle Oil.
