PoliBuild Instructions

Materials Needed:

• Sanitising Spray
• Cuticle Pusher
• Halo Elite 150, 180 & 240 grit nail files
• Halo White and Halo Yellow Blocks
• Halo Prep & Scrub
• Lint Free Wipes
• Nail Tips or Nail Forms 
  
• Halo Gel Polish Rubber Base Coat
• Halo Gel Polish Non Wipe Top Coat
• Halo PoliBuild Precision Gel
• Halo PoliBuild Liquid Control
• Halo PoliBuild Dual Tool
• Pure Nails Cuticle Feed
• Halo Smart Lamp

Preparation of the Natural Nail

1. Sanitise your hands and Clients hands
2. Remove any polish or gel polish
3. Push back the cuticles and remove any non-living tissue off the nail plate
4. File the natural nails with a 180 grit nail file
5. Using a 180 grit nail file, gently etch the nail to remove shine, then apply tips or forms
6. Remove dust with a Halo Plush Brush and dehydrate using Halo Prep & Scrub

Application

1. Apply Halo Rubber Base Coat and cure for 30 seconds, remembering to remove any product flooding side walls or cuticle area first
2. Apply first bead of PoliBuild using your PoliBuild Dual Tool
3. Dip the brush end of the PoliBuild Dual Tool into the Liquid Control, wiping off excess. Your PoliBuild brush should not be too wet; a small amount of Liquid Control will work
4. Pat and push your PoliBuild into position
5. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 until you have the required amount and shape
6. Cure under the Halo Smart Lamp for 30 seconds. It is not necessary to cure each ball individually
7. Using Halo Prep & Scrub, remove the tacky layer

Finishing

1. File the nails with a 180 grit file to refine the shape, length and surface
2. Buff the nails with a Halo Elite White Block to smooth
3. Remove dust
4. Apply Halo Gel Polish Non Wipe Top Coat
5. Cure for 30 seconds
6. Allow time to cool before applying Pure Nails Cuticle Feed

Removal

1. Remove Gel Polish Colour or Top Coat and break the seal of the product with 150/150 file
2. Using a soak off bowl, place hands in Acetone
3. Leave for 10 minutes and scrape off product
4. Repeat until all product is removed
5. Tidy up natural nails with a Halo Elite Yellow Block and 240 grit file
6. Apply Cuticle Feed
