Application of Halo Acrylic (Liquid & Powder System)

Preparation of the Natural Nail

1. Sanitise hands and nails using Pure Nails Sanitising Spray.

2. Carry out thorough preparation of the natural nail, removing all non-living tissue from the nail plate.

3. Apply Pure Nails Tips and blend if necessary.

4. Using a lint-free pad, work Halo Prep & Scrub into the natural nail (avoid the tip) to thoroughly dehydrate and cleanse.

5. Apply Halo Mega Bond to the natural nail only, avoiding the tip.

To Create Natural Acrylic Nails

1. Work in Zone 1, covering the tip using Halo Acrylic Liquid and Halo Pink or Clear Acrylic Powder.

2. Work in Zones 2 and 3 using Halo Acrylic Liquid with the chosen Halo Pink or Clear Acrylic Powder to cover the rest of the nail. Leave a very small margin and avoid contact with the skin.

3. Finish by filing and buffing to a high gloss shine.

To Create French Acrylic Nails

1. Work in Zone 1 to create the French tip using Halo Acrylic Liquid and Halo White Acrylic Powder.

2. Work in Zones 2 and 3 using Halo Acrylic Liquid with Halo Clear or Pink Acrylic Powder. Leave a very small margin and avoid contact with the skin.

3. Finish by filing and buffing to a high gloss shine.

4. Apply Halo Gel Polish Non-Wipe Top Coat and cure.

5. Apply Pure Nails Cuticle Feed to finish.

Reverse Method

1. Apply Halo Cover Pink Acrylic Powder to Zones 2 & 3, then apply Pink Acrylic Powder to build the apex.

2. File the smile line area before applying Halo White Acrylic Powder to the French area (Zone 1).

3. Finish by filing and applying Halo Gel Polish Non-Wipe Top Coat and cure.

4. Apply Pure Nails Cuticle Feed to finish.

Removal

1. Remove Top coat and Colour and some of the acrylic with a 100/150 elite file. This will help to make soak off quicker

2. Place hands in a heated bowl of acetone for 10 minutes to remove excess product. Alternatively, use the foil wrap method.

3. If product remains, buff further and return to acetone soak.

4. File natural nails with a 180 grit Halo file and refine with the Halo Elite Buffer (180 grit).

5. Apply Halo Cuticle Feed.
