Application of Halo Gel Polish
1. Prep the nail by shaping, carrying out cuticle work and removing any surface shine with a Halo Elite Yellow Block (220 grit), taking extra care to remove the shine down the side walls and around the cuticle are
2. Remove dust and surface oils by cleaning the nail plate with Halo Prep & Finish Plus.
3. Apply a thin layer of Halo Base Coat, making sure to seal the free edge.
4. Cure for 30 seconds in a Halo UV/LED lamp.
5. Before applying your Halo Gel Polish colour of choice, scrape off any excess gel on the neck of the bottle. Halo needs to be applied in thin coats!
6. Apply an extremely thin layer of your chosen Halo Gel Polish colour to the nail, remembering to seal the free edge. Cure for 30 seconds.
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for your second coat of Halo Gel Polish colour. Seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
8. Apply your Halo Top Coat of choice, seal the free edge and cure for 30 seconds.
9. If using Halo Top Coat, wait 5 seconds for the nails to cool and then remove sticky layer with Halo Prep & Finish Plus.
10. Allow nails to cool for 2 minutes before applying Halo Citrus Crush Cuticle Oil.
Removal of Halo Gel Polish
1. Buff nail to remove the top coat with a Halo 180 Elite File.
2. Soak cotton wool in Pure Nails Acetone, wrap with foil, keep hands warm if necessary (or use soak off bowls).
3. Allow acetone to penetrate for 5–10 minutes.
4. Remove foil and cotton wool; slide away softened gel with Halo Gel Remover Tool. Repeat if required.
5. Remove any debris and fille into shape with a Halo 180 Elite File and Halo 240 Elite Buffer.
6. Apply Halo Citrus Crush Cuticle Oil.
