Q: What makes it different to normal Halo Gel Polish?
A: Made in the EU, this is an even higher quality formula that's long-lasting and highly pigmented. Plus, HGP+ comes in bigger 12ml bottles!

Q: How do I remove it?
A: The same way as normal HGP – buff through the top coat, wrap in foils with acetone, then scrape off using the Halo Gel Scraper.

Q: Is it HEMA-free?
A: Yes – and TPO-free too!

Q: What is the consistency like?
A: It's a thick, easy-to-apply formula with even more pigmentation. No peeling or bubbling.

Q: How long does it last?
A: With proper prep and using the complete HGP+ system, it can last up to 4 weeks. For clients needing extra retention, try the HGP+ Super Base Coat.

Q: Why is it a 60-second cure?
A: Since HGP+ is a new EU-made formula with new ingredients, it requires a full 60-second cure. We've tested it with our current Halo lamps to ensure a perfect finish.

Q: Can I use this with normal Halo Gel Polish?
A: While it's best used with its own Base and Top Coat, it can be used with other Pure Nails systems like PoliBuild, Acrylic, and EasiBuild.

Q: Why did you make it if the normal Halo Gel Polish is already so good?
A: We always strive to improve. HGP+ is a next-level version of our successful formula—HEMA and TPO free, EU made, and designed with pro nail techs in mind.

Q: Why should I buy it?
A: You’re getting better value with 12ml bottles, more pigmentation, and elevated quality with every application.

Application of Halo Gel Polish Plus (HGP+)

Application

1. Prep the nail by shaping, carrying out cuticle work, and removing any surface shine with a Halo Elite Yellow Block (220 grit). Take extra care to remove shine down the side walls and around the cuticle area.

2. Remove dust and surface oils by cleaning the nail plate with Halo Prep & Scrub.

3. Apply a thin layer of Halo Gel Polish Plus Base Coat, sealing the free edge.

4. Cure for 30 seconds in the Halo Smart Lamp (UV/LED lamp).

5. Scrape off excess gel from the brush on the neck of the bottle before application (Halo must be applied in thin coats).

6. Apply a thin layer of your chosen Halo Gel Polish Plus colour, sealing the free edge. Cure for 60 seconds.

7. Repeat step 6 for a second coat, again sealing the free edge. Cure for 60 seconds.

8. Apply your chosen Halo Top Coat, sealing the free edge, and cure for 60 seconds.

9. If using Halo Top Coat, allow nails to cool for 5 seconds, then remove sticky layer with Halo Gel Wipe and Halo Elite Nail Wipes.

10. Allow nails to cool for 2 minutes, then apply Halo Citrus Crush Cuticle Oil to nourish cuticles.

Removal of Halo Gel Polish Plus

1. Buff nail to remove the top coat with a 180 Elite File

2. Soak cotton wool in Pure Nails Acetone, wrap with foil, keep hands warm if necessary.( or use soak off bowls)

3. Allow acetone to penetrate for 5–10 minutes.

4. Remove foil and cotton wool; slide away softened gel with Pure Nails Gel remover  Tool. Repeat if required

5. Remove any debris and fille into shape with a 180 Elite file and 240 Elite Buffer.

6. Apply Halo Citrus Crush Cuticle Oil.
