So, you’ve heard of the Halo Rubber Base Coat and about how great it is, but what is it actually for?
The Halo Rubber Base Coat is ideal for clients who suffer from weak and brittle nails that are prone to chipping and lifting, plus it provides flexibility and prevents stress fractures. It’s also multifunctional, as it’s perfect for use with any of our nail systems. The Halo Rubber Base flexes as the natural nail does, preventing cracks from appearing within gel polish and giving the fresh mani some extra staying power.
Not only that, but Halo Rubber Base Coat can be used as an alternative base coat when your client has chosen a bright, pigmented colour, like Halo Gel Polish in Flamingo, to help prevent staining of the natural nail.
The Halo Rubber Base Coat is applied in the same way as other base coats. For maximum wear, the surface shine on the nail should be removed with a Halo Elite Yellow Block (220 grit) and Halo Prep & Scrub should then be used over the nail plate to remove dust and oil. The nail is then perfectly prepared for a thin layer of Rubber Base Coat.
Many Halo users have found that our Rubber Base Coat makes their manicures last longer and that it’s also easier to remove! Win win!
If your clients are suffering with thin, flaky nails that are in need of some extra TLC, or you’re finding that your usual manicures aren’t lasting as long as usual, we’d recommend trying Halo Rubber Base Coat. At only £4.99 + VAT, you can’t go wrong with adding this to your Halo collection!
