Summer Nail Look Tutorials

Summer is practically knocking at our doorsteps, and you know what that means - it's time to brighten up those nails! Whether you're just starting out in the nail tech world or you're a seasoned pro looking for fresh inspo to spice up your summer menu, Gelalicious has got you covered. These three easy-to-follow nail art looks are designed to help you stand out, wow your clients (or your Instagram feed), and embrace all the holiday season vibes. 🌴 

1. Paint your chosen base colour and cure twice. We used HGP+ Naked.
2. Paint an outline around the nails with a liner brush and cure. We used HGP Neon Coral.
3. Outline the outline with HGP French White and cure again.
4. Use a dotting tool to paint 2 dots on the nail for the Cherries using a Red HGP.
5. Use a liner brush to draw the cherry stems with HGP Fresh Start and cure.
6. Add HGP French White to highlight parts of the stem and cherries, then cure.
7. Finish with Halo Non Wipe Top Coat and cure, you are now Ibiza ready!! ✨

1. Paint your chosen base colour and cure twice. We used HGP+ Naked.
2. Paint a thin layer of Halo Base Coat all over the nail (don’t cure)
3. Next, use a dotting tool and place a dot randomly on the nail (we've gone slightly off centre for this design) cure once happy with the bloom effect, we used a bright HGP for this.
4. Using a liner brush and use HGP Black (or switch it up and be colourful) to paint Tiger stripes on the nail. The key to this is to wiggle the brush slightly to create the tiger effect. 
5. Cure once happy with your stripes.
6. Finish with Halo Non Wipe Top Coat.
Top Tip: Feel free to add any designs underneath the Tiger Stripes to add more to your look.
Now that you’ve mastered the stripes, it’s time to show them off. These tiger tips weren’t made to blend in - wear them bold and let your nails do the talking. 👀

1. Paint your chosen base colour and cure twice. We used HGP+ Naked.
2. Use Non Wipe Top Coat, top coat the whole nail and cure.
3. Once cured use a buffer to remove the shine from the nail. Dust off any excess.
4. Use a liner brush and HGP Black to paint the body of the chilli and cure. 
5. Remove from the lamp and use a eyeshadow applicator to apply Red Chrome, dust off excess.
6. Then using HGP Black and your liner brush again, paint the stem of the chilli and cure.
7. Remove and apply the Green Chrome to the stem, dust off any excess.
8. Using HGP French White add a line to the body of the chilli and cure.
9. Finish with Halo Non Wipe Top Coat and cure.
Now you’ve nailed the look, it’s time to turn up the heat. Go slay the summer - those chilli tips were made to stand out! 🔥
