Statement from Halo Managing Director
At Halo, we’re committed to delivering professional-grade products that put the health and safety of both nail techs and their clients first. We understand the increasing concern around skin sensitivity and allergies, which is why the majority of our product range is already HEMA and TPO-free.
For the few remaining products, we’re actively working to transition them to a fully HEMA & TPO Free formula. Information on this can easily be identified on our website product listings, to allow full transparency with our customers on what they are purchasing.
This isn’t about clearing old stock, it’s about leading the industry forward. Our goal is to set the standard, not follow it. And now, with advanced formulas that are kinder to skin without compromising performance, Halo continues to be a future proof choice for nail professionals who care about quality, safety, and integrity.
And following the recent changes regarding TPO regulations in the European Union, we wish to clarify how this may affect customers based in the EU:
• The new EU legislation prohibits the use and sale of products containing Trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide (TPO) CAS Number 75980 60 8 across all EU countries.
• For customers in the United Kingdom, this change does not currently apply. While there have been discussions around a potential TPO ban in late 2026, nothing has been confirmed at this stage.
We’ll continue to monitor regulatory updates closely and keep you informed of any changes. If you’re unsure how this affects you, please check your country’s local guidelines or reach out to nailtechsupport@purenails.co.uk with any questions.
You can trust that Halo isn’t just keeping up – we’re paving the way.
