Grab a coffee (and maybe a snack!), get comfy, and join us as we dive into the story behind one of our VIPs; her journey, her favourite products, and everything in between. ✨
✨ "I’m Danielle, a 32 year old nail technician based in West Yorkshire. I’ve always been passionate about creating stunning nails that make people feel confident and polished. I love sharing my knowledge and helping others feel their best."
We spoke with Danielle to hear more about her journey into nails, her love for Halo, and what being a VIP means to her. Here’s what she had to say... 💬
How long have you been in the Nail Industry, and what inspired you to get started?
"I’ve been in the nail industry for nearly 10 years. I was inspired by how much confidence a great set of nails can bring a person and I love combining creativity with making people feel their best."
Are nails your full-time career or something you do alongside other things? Has it always been a dream for you to do?
"Nails are my full-time career. It wasn’t always something I dreamed of initially, but once I found it, I knew it was the perfect fit for me and I’ve never looked back!"
Why do you love Halo? How long have you been using our products?
"I love Halo because their products are high quality, long lasting, and perfect for creating beautiful nails. I’ve been using Halo products for several years, and they’ve never let me down."
What are your ride or die products? & Why?
"My ride or die halo products are most definitely the jellie tips, couldn’t live without them! They’re so easy and make nails look very natural looking."
What does it mean for you to be a VIP? How long have you been a VIP for?
"Being a Halo VIP means I get exclusive access to new products, special offers, and a supportive community of fellow nail techs. It helps me stay inspired and always deliver the best to my clients. I’ve been a VIP for around 3 or 4 years now, and it’s been a fantastic experience."
What’s your salon set up like?
"My nail desk setup is cozy and organised, I like to make clients feel comfortable and relaxed. I keep all my tools and products within easy reach so I can work efficiently while creating beautiful nails in a welcoming space."
Do you have any funny or interesting stories to share?
"Once, while doing a pedicure, I was clipping the toe nails when one pinged up and stuck to my lip because I had lip gloss on! Horrifying, but I can laugh about it now."
What advice would you give to someone just starting out in the nail industry?
"My advice would be to be patient and keep practicing. It takes time to build your skills, but if you stay passionate and keep learning, you’ll love it! And don’t hesitate to ask questions and connect with others!"
Where do you find your nail inspo?
"I find my nail inspiration everywhere, social media, fashion trends, and even nature. I love mixing ideas to create unique looks my clients will enjoy."
Any goals or dreams you're working toward in your nail career?
"My dream is to one day open my own salon where creativity and client care come first."
